The intentionality and creative vision of the studio rental at the Memory Seed Family Outpost is truly inspiring. From the private clawfoot tub outdoors, to the thoughtfully curated binder with recommendations for explorations, food, and even local herbalists  - no detail goes unnoticed. The studio itself is peaceful and cozy, a gentle and inviting room for reflection and imagination. The space is adorned with beautiful murals by local artists and passing guests, watched over by a majestic Juniper tree in the enclosed yard, and surrounded by the profound presence of Boyem Puyuik (Mount Shasta) and the provocative landscape of the Shasta Valley's high desert. Beneath the enchanting hum of it all is a clear message of spirited uplifting: of their community, of the land, and of you.” - Renée Camila

“This place is absolutely incredible. So peaceful, and comfortable. Watching a sunrise wrap it’s warm glow over Mt. Shasta while drinking a cup of coffee was beyond words. The outdoor tub and shower were perks I didn’t even realize. You know when you find a place that speaks to you on a deep level - well this is one of those places.” - 2021 Airbnb Guest Review

“In an ancient volcanic meadow that gazes upon the northern slope of Mount Shasta, there is treasure hidden among the juniper trees and wild sage brush. Quail scurry between mounds of native grass while red tailed hawks soar high above the valley between Sheep Rock and Mount Eddy. A lenticular cloud drifts along the horizon as you soak outside in a secluded clawfoot tub. The sky turns pink, then purple, then silver and you close your eyes to imagine climbing on board this vessel of vapor, flying back to the stars. When you open your eyes it is morning, and your transition into the new day has been lovingly shepherded by two angel stewards of this land. You won’t see them unless you call on them, but their presence is felt in all the senses. Every flower in the vase, every fold of the bedspread, every book on the shelf, has been thoughtfully arranged with the intention of allowing you to let go and breathe deeply.  There is a lot to take in around here. Adam and Rachael have created a soft landing for anyone who wants to come and take a look around. They’ll point you in the right direction but the adventure is yours. After all, what are we but just our own memories?”  -Miller Carr
